Fire Barrier Curtain 60min
The standard version is a 1.5mm thick x 1220mm wide reinforced glass cloth impregnated with red intumescent. A new waterproof foil-clad version 1000mm wide (ideal for thatched roofs) and acoustic version 16.5mm thick x 1220mm wide are now available. All are supplied with a small amount of fireproof adhesive for joints (20ml per linear metre of barrier ordered), but additional adhesive can be ordered.
Our fire barrier curtain is used in roof spaces, suspended
ceilings, etc. The standard barrier can be joined with intumescent
adhesive by overlapping 50mm, with reinforcing tape available. The
cloth is fixed to structural steel, concrete, or timber by means of
metal straps, and/or steel clips.
