Intumescent Membrane for Upgrading Lathe and Plaster to 90min
This 2mm thick grey intumescent paper (S/CEILING) introduces a new layer of fire protection to lath-and-plaster ceilings and walls, when adhered to well-prepared surfaces with Envirograf® ceramic adhesive at a loading of 350ml per square metre. It is also available with attached firecard (S/CP/CARD).
Our intumescent paper can only be used if the existing plaster is well adhered to the original laths. Cracks should be filled with (intumescent cement filler). If the surfaces are very porous, then they should be coated with (Stabond sealant) before adhering the intumescent paper to the surface. For decorative ceilings and those where the plaster has loosened from the laths,(underfloor fire barrier) should be used.
