Intumescent Multipurpose Boxes

The multi-purpose box consists of a metal box section with a detachable piece to facilitate fitting in tight corners, and the box section houses intumescent material. The boxes have adjustable fixing brackets, so that they may be used to fit flush against the ceiling or floor, as well as the conventional right-angled fixing.

Our multi-purpose box is designed to offer the most versatile, easily-fitted solution to the problem of protection of services that pass through ceilings, floors, and walls.

This product was subjected to a fire resistance test that employed the general procedures and criteria of BS476 Part 22 (1987), and up to four hours of protection can be achieved.
