Intumescent Profiled Sponge
This fireproof sponge is incombustible, emits no toxic fumes, and slowly degrades in a fire. Versions with ratings of one or two hours of protection are available. The two-hour protection version is coated on the risk surface with white intumescent material.
Our fireproof sponge profiles can be used under corrugated steel roofing sheets to prevent the passage of fire through the air gaps between the mounting surface and the corrugated sheet material.
