Intumescent Fire Tents
Our intumescent tents for air conditioning units (AIR) and light fittings (FT) are very lightweight, self-supporting, and completely ventilated to avoid over-heating of the air conditioning unit or light fitting. The tent is easily installed by one person in minutes as a result of simple clip fixing, no need for screw fixing, and no need for extra supports. An acoustic tent for light fittings is also available to attenuate airborne and impact sound (FT/AC). The acoustic type enables soundpoofing without overheating of the light fitting.
Our intumescent tents are utilised where recessed fluorescent
light fittings are installed above suspended or fire-rated ceilings, in
order to maintain the fire integrity of the ceiling.
