Product Description
FB750 Intubatt is a lightweight, high-performance fire barrier made from durable rock mineral fiber board and coated with a distinctive ablative layer featuring Optifire® traceability technology. Engineered for outstanding fire protection, it ensures effective sealing against fire, smoke, thermal, acoustic, and air pressure threats. Designed for use in compartment walls and floors, the FB750 Intubatt is the ideal solution for high-risk environments requiring reliable fire safety.
Features and Benefits
FB750 Intubatt offers exceptional fire resistance, effectively reinstating the integrity of compartmentalized walls and floors that have been breached by service penetrations. It provides superior smoke sealing, thermal and acoustic insulation, and air pressure resistance, further enhancing the overall safety and performance of the fire compartment.
Applications
FB750 Intubatt is suitable for a wide range of environments, including commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, industrial units, health and leisure facilities, and nuclear power plants. It is compatible with flexible and rigid walls (90 mm or thicker) and floors (150 mm or thicker), as well as suspended floors, ceiling voids, and raised access floors.
When used with FS702 Intumastic, it delivers a secure seal around service penetrations, including non-combustible pipes, cable trays, and ladders. Paired with Nullifire closure devices such as FS709 HP, FP302 Intustrap, FP220 Service Sleeve, or FP170 Intucollar, FB750 provides fire-rated protection around combustible conduits, including PVC, PE, PP, and HDPE pipes.
Performance and Testing
FB750 Intubatt is rigorously tested to BS 476 Part 21 standards, offering up to 120 minutes of fire resistance for loaded timber floors. It delivers trusted performance for demanding fire protection requirements while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Important Safety Notes
FB750 should not come into direct contact with CPVC pipes. Instead, use FS719 HP Blue for CPVC applications, ensuring full depth coverage. For Pegler X-Press Carbon Steel pipes, consult the manufacturer for specific recommendations.
Technical Guidance
Always review the Safety Data Sheet (SDS), application guidelines, and relevant project documents before use. Ensure the most up-to-date materials are downloaded prior to project commencement.
