Product Description
FS712 Intucoat is a versatile water-based acrylic coating and adhesive designed for use with FB750 Intubatt, FB770 Intudeck, and FJ220 Intubatt 3. It serves as a bonding agent and a surface repair coating, offering reliable performance in fire-resistant applications.
Usage and Purpose
FS712 Intucoat is ideal for repairing damage to the surface coatings of FB750, FB770, and FJ220 products. It can be used to bond these materials at joints, both to substrates and between cut pieces. Additionally, it provides a protective coating for the raw edges of FB750 and FB770 when using the surface-mounted application method. The product is effective as a cold smoke and air pressure seal and functions as a fiber encapsulant, ensuring a complete and safe sealing solution.
FS712 should not be used around CPVC pipes; for these applications, FS719 HP Blue is recommended. For Pegler X-Press Carbon Steel pipes, consult the pipe manufacturer for specific guidance. If a straight edge is required during application, appropriate decorating tape should be used. For substrates not specified in the technical data sheet, a patch test is advised prior to full application. Should any adverse effects be observed, consult Tremco CPG UK Technical Services.
Technical and Safety Guidance
The Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and pre-application guidance must be reviewed before use. Always download the latest documents before starting a project. FS712 should only be applied to substrates listed in the relevant technical documents unless patch-tested first.
