Flipfix Access Panels

Our standard sized access panels are suitable for walls and ceilings. They come with a Flipfix fitting device, which saves up to 80% on fitting times.

They also come with a 60, 120 or 0 minute fire rating.

What are Flipfix access panels made from?

All of the Flipfix panels are made from Zintec Steel. They can be faced with metal or plasterboard and have a beaded or picture frame. Please note all plasterboard door access panels come with beaded frames.

Their lock is a flush lock, meaning that it is concealed, making it ideal if you are looking for a discreet finish.

If you require a more secure lock, this can be achieved via our bespoke service.

What sizes do the fire-rated Flipfix access panels come in?

Our standard sizes are: 150×150, 200×200, 300×300, 450×450, 550×550, 600×300, 600×600

These are suitable for structural openings that are 5mm larger. For example a 600x600mm panel can be fitted into a 605x605mm opening.

What are the most popular access panel sizes?

Our most commonly sold access panel sizes are:

• 300 x 300 access panel
• 600 x 600 access panel
• 450 x 450 access panel

(all dimensions in mm).

We try to keep all access panel sizes readily in stock, however.

Standard Loft-hatches

We can provide standard 1 hour rated loft-hatches, with either a beaded or a picture frame.

Their sizes are 535x635mm and 535x745mm, suitable for structural opening sizes of 540x640mm and 540x750mm.

What are the benefits of this loft hatch?

Being insulated, they have a U-Value 0.35W/m2K

They are also perfect if you are looking to conceal the panel, as their lock is a SLIK Invisible Keyhole lock, meaning that it is highly discreet.

The SLIK insulated loft hatches are ideal if you need a quick turn-around, as they can be dispatched on the same day stock-permitting.

Bespoke Access Panels and Loft Hatches

We also can manufacture access panels and loft hatches to meet a specific specification.

What are your delivery time scales?

The stock sizes can be ordered on next-working-day delivery, if orders are placed by 1:30pm and stock permitting.

Bespoke orders usually take a minimum of 4 working-days to be delivered. Please check the lead time with us upon quotation.
