Firoblok Intumescent Sleeves by Envirograf

Firoblok sleeves are made of a fibre free intumescent material. Ideal for protecting cables, metal and plastic pipes, trunking and ventilation ducting where they pass through fire-rated block, brick, concrete or plasterboard.

We also have specialised sleeves for electrical conduits.

If necessary, we can supply end plates which allow services to pass through walls and floors whilst sealing them off. Please contact us if this is the case.

Fire testing:

Fire tested to European standards: EN1366-3 (2005), EN1363-1 (2000), and EN13501-2 (2004)

Tested to BS476 Part 22 (1987), achieving an integrity of 130 minutes in solid walls, 67 minutes in hollow walls, and 4 hours in concrete/block ceilings and walls.

They also have been designed to be in accordance with Document B of UK Building Regulations.

Once installed, they will last a lifetime without any degradation or deterioration.

Application Instructions:

On the substrate, mark an outline for where the fire sleeve is being installed.

Proceed to cut the hole. We recommend using a powered hole cutter or a padsaw.

Clean down the edges.

Attach the fire sleeve over the vent and to the service passing through.

Ensure that the assembly is flush with the substrate.
