SC801 intumescent paint for steel can provide UP TO 120 minutes of fire protection on INTERNAL steel only.
As with all intumescent paint for steel, it comes in a matt white finish, although compatible topcoats may be applied to achieve a tinted finish.
Application Conditions
This paint should only be applied when both the air and steel temperature is greater than 5°C.
Relative humidity should be lower than 80% for successful application.
Steel surface temperature should be at least 3°C above the dew point.
The steel must be dry and free from contact with rain or condensation during the application and drying process.
Application Instructions
We recommend applying SC801 intumescent by airless sprayer.
Prior to use, the paint must be stirred thoroughly and not thinned. Please view the video below for more details.

Operating pressure: 2500-3000psi (175-210 kg/cm²)
Tip size: 19-21 thou
Fan angle: 20°-40°
Hose diameter: 10mm (3/8″ ) (internal diameter)
Hose length: Max. 60 metres, in-line
