Thermoguard is a paint manufacturer which produces intumescent and fire-retardant coatings for wood, steel and plasterboard. They have been manufacturing many fire-tested products for several decades; holding to high manufacturing standards, including ISO 9001. The materials used in manufacturing are of high quality and many are of low environmental impact.
They are also well known for providing anti-viral protective coatings for plasterboard and timber. Tests show that 99.9% of bacteria are killed on substrates protected with these products, within 24 hours and 91.5% of coronavirus in 2 hours.
Thermoguard products have been used in domestic, commercial and industrial projects. Many of the products can be supplied with either a woodstain finish or a tinted painted finish, for example to a RAL or BS colour code. Please contact us for more information.
Clear instructions are provided with the products and can be requested separately, if necessary, along with the other data sheets. This is so that any competent tradesman or a specialist contractor can feel confident about applying the products effectively. Most of the products can be applied by brush, roller and spray, although please follow the instructions for each product.
