FSI S-Line Pillows can be used to create either a temporary or permanent fire seal around service penetrations.

They are particularly useful in services which require regular maintenance and access, as they can be removed temporarily.

These fire pillows can be used around services which pass through a compartment wall or floor.

Comes in three different sizes: Sausage 330x50x20mm, Small 330x200x50mm, Large 330x200x45mm.

The Sausage size comes in boxes of 50 units. The Small size come in boxes of 25 units. The large size comes in a box of 12.

How do intumescent pillows work?

The intumescent material in the pillows expands when exposed to extreme temperatures, such as in a fire.

When the fire pillows are positioned together, they lock together to form a collective seal.

 

Product testing

The FSI S-line intumescent pillows have been fire tested to BS EN 1366-3:2009, BS 476 parts 20 and 22 & BS EN 13501-2:2016

They have also been tested for air permeability, in accordance with BS EN 1026:2000

They can achieve up to 43dB as per their acoustic rating test, in accordance with BS EN ISO 10140-2:2020

These fire pillows are CE Marked.

Technical Information

These fire pillows can be used around single or multi-service penetrations.

They can fire stop within steel cable trunking.

They have an assumed working life of 30 years, in internal conditions. Not suitable for external use.

The pillows maintain the penetration’s acoustic performance and prevent air leakage.

Chemical Composition

This product is made from a glass cloth bag with organic fillers and intumescent additives.

Handling, Storage and Disposal

Ensure that this product is stored in a well-ventilated, dry & cool environment. The room ideally should be between 5 and 35 degrees Celcius.

Do not expose to direct sunlight.

Follow safe manual handling procedures where applicable.
