The FAS45 rebated drop seals provide a barrier to sound, light, fire and smoke.
They are to be installed into rebates in the bottom of single swing fire doors and drop automatically when the doors shut. They have been shown to have a durability to 1 million cycles.
They can be used on both single and double doors, which are either right or left handed.
The gap size needs to be a minimum of 3mm and a maximum of 13mm.

Please note that each length can be cut down to the size below it. For example, the 1300mm length can be cut to 1200mm.
The 400mm seal can be cut back to 221mm.
Colours
At present, all seals are silver anodised aluminium, with silver end plates and a black rubber gasket.
Properties
Once installed, the product can be easily adjusted using the plunger at the end of the seal.
It has a robust mechanism and optional end caps.
It self-levels on uneven surfaces.
It meets smoke requirement BS 9999: 2017
Accessibility is not affected when this product is installed.
Product Testing
These rebated drop seals have been acoustic tested to BS EN ISO 10140-2: 2010, achieving up to Rw 40dB.
They have been smoke tested to BS EN 1634-3: 2004
Fire testing has been conducted to two standards: BS476, parts 20 & 22: 1987 and BS EN 1634-1: 2014
Installation Instructions
Use the fixing screws and end plates to secure the product in place, to a rebate in the bottom of the door.
