Their range of cavity and fire barrier products provide high levels of fire protection and reduce the transmission of sound through hidden cavities.
As members of the Association of Specialist Fire Protection (The ASFP) AIM are committed to ensuring that the products they manufacture are produced to the highest standards and are fit to meet the requirements of an ever-evolving construction market.
AIM have manufactured their products to meet the requirements of the UK Building Regulations and they test to the recognised standards of BS 476-20, EN 1366-4, EN1363-1, TGD19 and TR31 to ensure their products are fit for purpose. Many of their cavity barriers have also been subjected to full scale BS 8414 tests and passed subsequent system assessments.
AIM’s products have been approved and used on many prestigious projects such as Canary Wharf, The Shard, The O² music venue and the Olympic Village to name just a few. They work on new build low- and high-rise developments, commercial and industrial properties as well as being heavily involved in supplying replacement materials for the retrospective upgrade of combustible cladding systems.
