TBA Firefly’s Zeus Lite fire barrier is suitable for compartmenting extended cavities within buildings.
It is certified by IFCC. Certificate number: IFCC 1462
Properties
This fire barrier is non-toxic, easy to use, manipulate and cut to shape, flexible and durable
It has been treated chemically- this treatment provides thermal insulation and fire retardancy properties.
It is made from glass fibre fabric.
Minimum Thickness: 6mm
Barrier width: 127cm
Roll length: 6 l/m
Roll Area: 7.62m2
These barriers arrive individually wrapped
Minimum weight: 1.44 kg per square metre.
This product does not provide any smoke resistance.
Fire Testing
TBA Firefly’s Zeus Lite fire curtain provides 90 minutes fire resistance and 30 minutes insulation, exceeding the minimum requirements relating to Fire Barriers as per the ADB (UK Building Regulations: Approved Document B).
This product has been tested to BS 476 parts 20/22: 1987, as well as BS476 parts 6 and 7.
It has only been tested in vertical application, although it is continuously being tested in horizontal application.
Application Details
This product is only suitable for vertical installation.
Can be used with many of TBA Firefly’s accessories, including Firefly Collaroll and staples.
